A brand new day

The stock market is simply the result of many people trying to make money on their investments.

7:40am   Hi everybody, another day another opportunity. As I said in my earlier postings I will be starting my RobtheMarketBlind (RTMB) portfolio. It will be starting with the first trading day in June. I'll continue with the 'momentum' portfolio from time to time but with less focus. All indications are that the 'tide' is turning. The market is becoming uncertain due to possible FED declarations and actions. The 'futures' are up this morning although the GNP numbers have been downgraded and also a increase in jobless claims.

8:55am  Way to avoid whiplash is to rebuy stocks. Bought 300 shr GM.

9:04am    Bought 150 shr VOYA.

9:09am     GM moving awfully fast. Will watch it closely. Might end up being a day trade. I'll take the profit. In any case, have a stop limit to guarantee a winner.

9:19am    GM.. It's take the money and run day. Sold GM (daytrade) . GM runup starting to go south. Might rebuy if it turns and goes up again.

9:29am    Pending home sales HITS 3 YEAR HIGH. As indicated on stocktwits, bought odd lot of CELG.

9:43am   After yesterday, looking for deals today. Bought LLY. Our strategy, don't take large losing chances. Yesterday we sold to cut short losses, today I'm after winners.

10:17    Some days are daytrades, not my normal style. Gold and silver pushing it on today. Bought GG. Added on to VOYA.

11:10am   Obviously the market is in a stage of uncertainty, that means volatity and that means big up and down days. The FED is unclear of what it will do.. in the short term... in the long term it will tighten up. In this situation, I plan to both quickly get into stocks and quickly get out of stocks. I've done two stock daytrades today. I would not be surprised in the day ends with five daytrades.

11:15am  Again I want to thank my readers/visiters. The site's statistics shows over a hundred visits today and it isn't even noon! I wasn't sure how the reaction would be after having a bad day yesterday. Thanks for staying with me.

12:07pm   Daytrade #3. Sold LLY. In downtrend. Will be out for lunch.

1:00pm     Like I said yesterday, there's always tomorrow. Bought TEN 100 shr. The objective is to make a profit on a consistent monthly basis. That is the plan here.

2:55   bought GM 400 shr ..sold all of VOYA. Sold GG.
