Our stocks as of the Opening

QIHU up 11% in afternoon trading Friday on reports that the company is approaching 20% search-market share in China, and now expects to hit 30% in 2014.
Up 5.5% Monday.

BIDU What's driving Baidu's nearly 50% surge in the past six months? The answer is simple: mobile momentum.

AAPL less than a month away from Apple's first big product launch of the year. Up 6 points Monday

NFLX Breaking Bad scored 5.9 million views for its season premiere on Sunday night, 102% higher than the episode that kicked off last summer's fifth season. This is naturally good news and may be an even bigger victory for Netflix

QQQ (QQQ) made a new rally high at $77.27 last Tuesday, will it top that this week?

What a wonderful Monday was .... for me..... The DOW was down 70 points and all the major indexes were down .... yet... ALL OUR STOCKS MOVED UP

AAPL UP 6 POINTS

XONE UP 3.5%

BIDU UP .11%

TSLA UP 3.70 POINTS

NFLX UP 1.11 POINTS

ALL ON A MARKET DOWN DAY!

In three months of live public trading on my site, I am currently up $8700 with an average portfolio cost risk of $80,000. Annualized over 1 year this equates to a gain of 34,800 (8700 X 4). A 34,800 gain on an average portfolio cost of $80,000 equates to an annualized gain of 43.5% !

Repeat. My public portfolio on my site is at an annualized gain of 43.5%

I am using an avg of $80,000 for the above calculation. My actual average cost is actually lower than 80k most of the time. Currently I have $71,000 at risk.

08:54am Sold QIHU for profit .. price started down this morning .. expect to repurchase this later today when it'll start heading back up. Anyhow this frees up $10,000 for other opportunities.

10:43am QIHU appears to be stabilizing around 71... will continue to keep an eye on it for repurchase. TOL and VOYA remain on heavy watch.

12:34pm Ahhhhhh NFLX... wish I owned more.. hey maybe will buy more?

12:37pm Good newbie XONE continues to show no pain... onward and forward!

1:34pm My cut on NFLX.. likely to continue upward movement today and tomorrow morning. If so, I will sell and then look to buy back on the dip. NFLX appears to be even more aggressive than Amazon AMZN. NFLX geared up for the future.. now has exclusive deal with a movie maker to show movies before pay-tv channels HBO and Showtime. This is in addition to the Disney / NFLX exclusive deal... all scheduled to start in 2016. In the meantime Apple AAPL just looks on and said it 'coulda been me' if I had only listen to MightyMO. (note I have written many article in the past about AAPL buying out Netflix).

2:10pm Can't stand it any longer ...added NFLX shares to my holdings... still considering selling tomorrow however.

2:15pm The Tuesday tease was Netease (if you please).. Missed this one for now.

2:18pm TSLA ..She's back on track.. making even more expensive autos but plans to compete in a lower range ... thinking about adding to position

2:22pm BIDU ... after a torrid July, BIDU is ready to kicked it up a notch after pausing....

2:24pm Looks like the market is having a last hour headache... might cause me to change plan of action.

2:30pm Wanted to let you all know. I've been trying like hell to find a new stock better than what I currently own... haven't found one I like... maybe GOOG,, maybe Netease.. hey there's always TOL !

2:38pm Will the last half hour be a bounce or a trounce ?

Price... follow the Price.. Money does and money flows to where money grows. I don't care about moving averages of any kind or flavor. I have no clue what oversold or overbought means nor do I care. Even volume numbers can be deceptive. I look at Price. Price is the result of the entire spectrum thoughts of those who are buying and selling stocks. Price is true. Price is honest. Price at any given time provides the result of anyone's and everyone's analysis, comments, posts, blogs, manipulations, media news, etc etc etc.

I don't have the time or inclination to purchase an entity and see if it's a winner in 5 years. My preference is to find out in 5 minutes. I love to purchase a stock that hits a first time new high, whether the new high is a 52wk high, a yearly high, an all-time high ..because... the odds are that it's more than likely to continue to hit even more highs. The 'first new high' is likely to be the lowest high.

OK, finally got the MSN Money top 10 portfolio by Jim Jubak. I think it might be fun to watch how this performs. It is NOT MY portfolio, it is just one they think will do well the second half of 2013. So let's see. Of course, I will continue my real account live portfolio as well. The MSN money portfolio started on July 1 and I am prorating the ten stocks with a 'pretend' $10,000 for each stock for a total start of $100,000 and will compare it to the SP 500 by using SPY.
